Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! I would even say that it is more of a favorite than Christmas! :) It just seems to get the season off to a holly, jolly start! However, this Thanksgiving Day wasn't so holly jolly for me!! I was SICK, SICK, SICK!!! It started off the Monday before Thanksgiving with the body aches and chills and a fever and it just kept getting worse from there! Thanksgiving day I was feeling somewhat better so I got up (very slowly), showered (at a snail's pace), and got ready to head for dinner.
Being around family seemed to dwindle the sickness, but I couldn't even finish my dinner plate with everything delicious on it and gasp! I didn't even get pie!!! NO!!! I was so distraught with the thought of not eating my pumpkin pie!
5:00 pm rolled around and our family had to call it quits and head home so I could face another restless night! I didn't even get one single picture on Thanksgiving! :(
What a way to start off the holiday season, eh??
