3 Years!

For our anniversary, we took a drive to Mesa Falls with Garrett. I packed up a picnic with all intentions of spreading a blanket on the grass and eating our sandwiches. We got there and the mosquitos were horrible! But, the falls were roaring! It was so pretty and Garrett loved it!

Later that evening, John and I dropped Garrett off at my parents. We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I love their rolls! After dinner, we walked to Sportsman's so John could look at guns and then went to Bed Bath and Beyond! We had such a great time!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

For John's gift I got him "Megamind" (believe it or not!) He's still a kid at heart-that's one of the things I love about him! He was so excited. I cooked him a nice Sunday dinner, which is sad to confess, that I don't do very often. I wanted to make him apple crisp for dessert but I didn't have any pie filling! Drat!
A little later, we went to my parents house. I gave my dad Clint Eastwood Westerns! :) My mom made doughnuts for a yummy treat (she saves the day, again!) Thanks, mom! They were good!

Saturday, we were with John's family and I gave Bruce blueberry and rhubarb jam! I hope he enjoys it! :)

I hope all 3 of you had a great Father's day! I love you all so much! :)

I Like To Swim!

My parents bought a blow up pool. Last Saturday, they were watching Nick and Ashley's girls and wanted to swim. My mom called me up to see if Garrett wanted to come swim, too! There were a couple of times when Garrett lost his balance and did a face dive, but that didn't stop him! He loved it!

I love his flaming red hair! It's extra bright when he's out in the sunshine

After swimming, all three of them jumped on the tramp! Something tells me that the pool and the trampoline are going to be a big hit for the summer!

15 Months

Wow! He's growing too fast!! Garrett has picked up a few extra tricks in the last month:

• Is getting his lower molar on the left side which means he is being clingy and cranky
• Can "march"
• Thinks every animal is a dog but can identify a cow and make the correct sound
  
• Loves books!! He will have me read the same story over and over again! His favorite one is "Just Me and My Dad" by Mercer Mayer-I don't mind, it's a cute book. :)
• Dances to music
• Points to a picture on the wall and says "Mamma".... Even if it's not a picture of me!
• Likes pears, sweet potatoes, spaghetti, mac and cheese and any kind of cracker or cookie

Going Private

Hey everyone!! I will be making my blog private due to an incident (that I'd rather not talk about) that happened a couple of days ago. It's nothing to worry about but it got me doing a lot of thinking about how NOTHING is safe on the internet!! I have also closed my Facebook account so please don't be offended if I "unfriended" you!

Playing outside...Finally!!!

Friday was a warm and sunny night, so John and I, along with Ashley and her family, went to the community park in Idaho Falls. It was so fun and it was so nice to get out of the house for a few hours.

There was this one slide that had a couple of bumps on the way down. We all went down it and I think we all hurt our tailbones! I did anyway!

I wanted Garrett to go down by himself on the little slide.....

...Obviously he wasn't a fan!!
I was, of course, laughing at his expression! :)
