Broken Furnace...Need I say more?!

All winter long our furnace has been clicking on and off sparatically and finally last Friday it went off completely! Just in time for the big snow storm too! Lucky us! We now have invested in 3 space heaters and are living in an igloo! I've always wondered what that would feel like-Now I know!

We came home Friday night to a 54 degree house! And it keeps dropping! Being impatient with our landlord who has "fixed" the furnance numerous times before, John and I have had it! Wednesday night, we went looking for a new place to live. So many options out there! We did find a couple that we are interested in. I'm WAY excited to be looking at houses that actually work! Hopefully we find one soon! My bags are already packed!

I think this picture pretty much says it all!

WhAt ThE?!

Ok! So apparently winter isn't over! Dang it-I was really hoping for no more snow! I woke up this morning to about 5 inches of white on the ground!! I was just begining to enjoy the grass and the feel of "spring" Darn all the snow! Go Away!
On a brighter note-one of my friends had her baby girl last night! She weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz. 22 inches long. I can't wait to see pictures of her! Congratulations Jamie and Frank and welcome baby girl Gracelynn Maye McClure!

Is it just me or is the month of January....BORING!!! Nothing exciting has happened for John and I since....I wanna say Christmas?? Both of us are just busy working and hanging out at home by ourselves. Some fun, huh?! Well, I hope everyone else's lives are jam-packed with things to do! Maybe (and hopefully) next month will be a wee bit more exciting!

*Anytime Fitness*

YAY! I have a workout buddy!

So, one of mine and John's New Years Resolutions is to start working out...everyday!! I usually just do DVD workouts but this week John wanted to try out Anytime Fitness in Shelley. It's pretty nice! We went for the first time last night and I am so sore! Both of us like the gym and working out with each other. Hopefully, we'll keep this little goal of ours going! I would love to be able to fit into my wedding dress again before our one year is up! 5 mo. to go!!!

*Arizona Trip/Donny and Hayley's Wedding*

**WE'RE BACK!!! **
John and I had a way good time to our trip to Arizona! The reason we went was because one of John's comps from his mission (Donny) got married to a beautiful girl, Hayley Huiskens on January 10th, and John was one of Donny's groomsmen.
Being the brain-dead people we are--we forgot our flippin camera!!! I was so mad because I had this plan of taking tons of pics at the wedding and then posting them! It's a good thing we didn't do a whole lot of sight-seeing. John and I woke up way early on Thursday and headed into Idaho Falls Airport. Our flight left at 6 am and we got into Salt Lake around 8 am. Then we were on standby for about half hour. We left Salt Lake and flew straight into Pheonix, AZ around 11 am. That's where John and I met Hayley for the first time. She picked us up from the airport and then we went to one of her and Donny's favorite places to eat for lunch. It was so good to see Donny again. He flew down for our wedding so of course we had to go to his!
After lunch, Hayley took us back to Donny's house where we stayed in his family RV!! Totaly privacy! I loved it! Later that night, it was Donny and Hayley's rehearsal for the wedding on saturday and then we had a rehearsal dinner at Euro Cafe. Very good food-but very pricey! Good thing we didn't have to pay! =) After dinner, Donny and Hayley drove John and I to their new house they are going to be living in. Let's just say it's pretty nice for a starter home. I think my house could probably fit in their bedroom! Not even kidding!
Well, after a long day of flying, eating and driving we all called it a night. Luckily, the next day Hayley's bridesmaids took her away for the entire day throwing her a bachelorette party which left Donny playing "tour guide" for John and I. He took us down to Scottsdale Mall which was HUGE!! 3 stories!! I was like a kid in a candy store! Kudos to John and Donny for shopping with me! All the meanwhile, I finally got to hear some mission stories! After Scottsdale, Donny took us to the Mesa Temple. That made the whole trip for me! It was gorgeous! Thanks to Donny we got some good pics of John and I in front of the temple. Playing tour guide took all day!
Saturday was the big day! The place where the wedding took place was gorgeous! In case you haven't figured it out-this was a civil wedding cuz Hayley's only been a member for almost a year-they will go to the temple when she hits her year mark-this was one of the first civil wedding's I've been too. Kinda cool but I am so glad that John and I did it right the first time! Saved us a lot of time and money.
After the ceremony, they served a 4 course meal at the reception and had dancing afterwards! That was a blast! I loved dancing with John and making complete loons out of ourselves! It definately brought back some memories of my day!
John and I left Arizona Sunday morning around noon and then had a two hour layover in Salt Lake the took FOREVER!!! We almost didn't make the 4:30 pm flight back to I.F. due to still being on stand-by. We got home Sunday night about 6:00 and were so glad to be home! I definately loved the 70 degree weather but can't stand the big city life! The driving about made me car sick! I've decided big cities aren't really my forte! John and I had so much fun and plan on going back for another visit! Congratulations Donny and Hayley! We love you both!

*Happy New Year*

New Year's Eve: John and I had to work (only half day, of course). The night before we didn't have any idea on what we were going to do for New Year's-I think we were both bummed that we were going to be the only ones not doing anything fun. But, thanks to Aunt Connie, we ended up going over to her house and partying with Aunt Connie, Uncle Dave, Trenna, Trevor and Adria and Todd (all cousin-in-laws). John's sister Tyree came with her 3 girls and Adam, and also John's brother Garin came with his 3 kids. It was a houseful but it was funner that what John and I had planned!
We sat around eating and playing games, which is always fun. We played "Imaginiff..." and "Apples to Apples". Both favorites of mine. We played games for a couple of hours and before we all knew it-there was about 2 min before the New Year! I think this was the first year that I didn't watch "Dick Clark's Rockin New Year's Eve" with the ball dropping. John didn't even give me a New Year's kiss! HELLO!!! He did later of course but it's not the same! =)
We left the Bates' around 2:00 a.m. Thank heavens neither of us had to work the next morning!
New Year's Day: We both woke up around 10:00 a.m. It felt sooo good to sleep in! We took down our Christmas Tree and decorations, ate breakfast while watching the good old fashioned "Looney Tunes" on tv! Man, I miss those!! Around 1:00, we drove to John's parents house and decided to go sledding at "the pit". It was fun, but very cold and windy! We sledded for about an hour and then John tried to teach me how to snowboard. "Tried" being the keyword-we'll just leave it at that! I felt like a freakin idiot! Never again!
After sledding, we went back to the in-laws and had hot chocolate and dinner. It was a fun day but around 5:30 we were both dog-tired! We both had a fun couple of days! Happy New Year!!
