Pumpkin Carving!

We've had a fun couple of FHE's carving pumpkins with the family!

First, at my parents house:

 I was going through my mother in law's camera and found these photos of Garrett! This kid makes me laugh!

Yes, that is a Princess potty (his cousins) and No, he is NOT potty trained!

The other night after dinner, Garrett wanted John and Grandpa to play tractors with him!

And then, just last night, Bruce was fixing Linda's treadmill with Garrett as his assistant. Don't know if he was helping or hindering...but it was cute! :)

Leaf Drive 2012-Fall Creek

 On Conference weekend, we took a drive to Fall Creek. We've done this drive for the last couple of years. It's a really pretty drive. The leaves just start turning and the air is crisp and cold! :) There is a little babbling brook the John and Garrett like to throw rocks in and we see a stray cow or two...or six...Anyway, we have fun together! :)

I love this time of the year! I don't like the fact that the weather is cooling off, but I just love the fall colors, the pumpkins and corn stalks being used as decorations on porches, and chili with cornbread dinners, and for us farmers, potato digging up at the farm! :)

Gymnastics!

 The first part of September, I enrolled Garrett in gymnastics! He loves it!! :) And he does such a great job! He listens well to his teachers (which surprises me...) and is learning all kinds of flips and jumps, along with somersaults and cartwheels. The class is such a hoot to watch! These little kids are so funny and just want to run and jump everywhere! :)

This is probably Garrett's favorite part about his classes-the Foam Pit!

He seems to be getting better and more coordinated every week! We're so proud of him! He needed an activity for his non-stop energy!! :)
