What We've Been Up To...

We haven't had internet for awhile-that's why I've been M.I.A. on my blogging. There really hasn't been that much to blog about anyway. But, I thought I would share a few events that are worth mentioning!

Last week was Garrett's last day of Gymnastics! He has been going since September and looks forward to it every week! I debated whether or not to keep him in it during the summer, but I decided to put him in swimming lessons instead. I keep telling him that gymnastics is over and we can start again when the pumpkins come out (aka this fall).

I think his favorite part of gymnastics is when he gets to jump on the trampoline and bounce all the way down to the end and then take a flying leap into the foam pit! :) Yes, it is pretty entertaining and I'll miss watching him!

In April, we celebrated my mom's birthday! We had a nice Sunday dinner, then had apple pie and ice cream for dessert. Oh ya! And all the funny gag gifts we got for her for turning the BIG 5-0! Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you and hope you had an enjoyable day! Thanks for all you do for us!

Also, in April, we moved into our new home!!! YIPEE!!! I thought the day would never come! I am just loving being in my own home, with my own stuff, and I can decorate it the way I want to! Garrett is having the time of his life with all of the dirt and rocks!! I'm loving it, too. However, I will be so glad when we have grass. I keep finding piles of little teeny, tiny rock particles in my couches from a certain little boy...hmm...

In May, I celebrated my birthday by going down to Boise and having a girl weekend with some of my aunts and cousins! We ate, laughed, and shopped and had a great time! On Monday night (my birthday) John and Garrett took me out to dinner at Costa Vida. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and gifts!! I've enjoyed being 28 thus far..... :)

May also brought a new addition to the family! :) My sister had another baby girl on May 17th! She is a cute little thing! They named her Reese Aliana Hunter. (I do have pictures-they're just all on my phone!) Congrats Nick and Ashley on another adorable little girl! :) 

Memorial Day felt just like any other day. We had a BBQ at my uncle's house, then Garrett and I went to my parents house and spent the rest of the afternoon playing outside and eating Popsicles! :)

We've had fun the last couple of months and are anxiously waiting for summer to get here!

Easter Weekend 2013

 Easter weekend was fun this year! Over the weekend we colored eggs, had some Easter egg hunts and just had a great time hanging out with family.

We had a little Easter egg hunt for the grandkids at John's parents house!

Easter Sunday is one of my favorite Sundays. I love listening to the messages about Christ's Resurrection. For me, it helps keep perspective on what this holiday is really about.
