John's 28th Birthday!

 John turned 28 on July 23rd. Every year his request is an ice cream cake from DQ and a few presents. We invited a few family members over to eat cake with us! He got a few shirts and a Black Diamond headlight he can use for all of those times that he goes wolf hunting at night-(eye-roll)-at least that's what I'm told! ;) We had fun spoiling him!

Happy Birthday John! We love you so much and think the world of you! You're a great dad and husband and we appreciate all you do for our family!

Bear Lake

 Garrett and I went to Bear Lake with Tiffany, Brylie, Tawnya and her 3 kids, and my friend Randi and her two girls for a couple of days last week. We left Sunday afternoon and got home Tuesday evening. It was a fun couple of days playing in the sand and water! All of the kids (and adults)  had a great time!

Garrett and Paige (my friends' girl) took turns pouring oodles of amounts of sand/water in each other's hair-that was a treat to wash out later!!! :)

These two became pretty good buddies! :)

First timers (Randi and I) on some paddle boards that we rented for a few hours! They were pretty fun!

 On Tuesday before we left, Tiffany and I took Garrett and Brylie back to the lake for a few more hours before we headed home. The weather wasn't really cooperating with us-it started to rain about an hour after we got there!

I sure had a fun time with my little Garrett!

4th Of July 2013

 We had such a fun time celebrating the 4th! We went to my parents for a BBQ and some swimming and then went into Idaho Falls for the fireworks!

We always have a good time (and some good entertainment) in this big pool!

I made some cupcakes for the BBQ and throughout the afternoon, Garrett had licked the icing off of every single one! :) He didn't eat the cake part-just licked off the icing!

I thought that the firework show was awesome!!! Much better than last year's and well worth the 1 hour delay. And due to the delay, Garrett missed the entire thing! He fell asleep and stayed asleep through the loud bangs and cracks! :) Must have had a hard day swimming!
